About Jeshi

Jeshi during the 2008 Census

Jeshi – meaning ’soldier’ in Swahili – is a trouble-maker! He likes to jump out at visitors and give them a fright. He means no harm and soon goes away.

Strangely Jeshi likes to play with mud. He pounds it and rolls in it the way a pig would - sometimes he wipes it on other gorillas.
